Middlefork Farm Nature Preserve, Lake Forest, Illinois
This 192 acre parcel owned by the heirs of a Chicago industrialist is now a conservation development comprised of open space, park land, a wildlife discovery center and a fine collection of single family homes. AHC managed the land planning, municipal and other governmental approval process, harvesting the value added from a sale of the entitled development property to a local residential developer, and the open space to a local conservation consortium.

Land Assembly
A Chicago-area municipality concerned about one of its key sales tax generating businesses relocating out of town retained AHC to assemble adjacent land to allow the business to expand without relocating. AHC secured expansion land on favorable terms as a result of subdividing parcels so the more valuable road frontage could be sold to others.

Lake Forest Graduate School of Management
This 62 year old business school retained AHC to assist with site selection and acquisition for a new building. AHC arranged a "bargain purchase" (partial donation) of office park land subdivided precisely to the school's requirements.
