Twelve Mile Crossing, a hybrid entertainment/lifestyle center, was acquired by a joint venture between Transwestern Investment Company LLC and Arthur Hill & Co LLC (AHC) in 2006. The property is located on a prime 67-acre site fronting on I-96 and Twelve Mile road, near Twelve Oaks Mall in Oakland County, Michigan, one of the wealthiest counties in the nation. AHC is managing an extensive redevelopment of the property that includes the demolition of existing buildings, construction of a new entrance and improvements, and substantial leasing, recasting the project as a first-class, open-air retail and entertainment destination. The redevelopment and construction work has enhanced access to the property, providing better circulation for pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and has upgraded improvements and landscaping to create a welcoming atmosphere.

The redevelopment and leasing efforts have translated into leases with several new tenants, including a 60,000 square foot fitness center, to include basketball and racquetball courts, an indoor swimming pool, and a mezzanine level for cardio equipment.
